batman cartoon

BatMan Begins and Dark Knight made hella money. I highly doubt everyone that went to watch those films even read the comics or watched the cartoons when they were young.

So why would they watch the films?

Its like playing Halo 3 without beating the 1st 2 games.

  1. i guess because of all the attention.
the commercials, the cast and because of the good reviews.

  2. Because you don’t have to have watched the cartoons or read the comments to understand the stories, and they appeal to all types of people. Your Halo 3 example is actually a really bad example.

  3. I’ve read the comics, my dad has a lot of them. I always watched the cartoons when I was little, my dad got me into them. I still watch them when they come on. And I’ve seen quite a few of the older movies. I agree with you, it drives me nuts when people obsess over a movie or a character and know nothing about how it got started and whatnot.

  4. I’m sick of all the bandwagon fans. Most of them didn’t realize that The Dark Knight was a sequel to Batman Begins. They only cared about The Joker and Heath Ledger’s last performance. They pretend to be “true” fans but the only source they know is a big-budget Hollywood film.
