There was nothing in the article that identified any source, and it strikes me as irresponsible that the piece was published but I guess people will read any rumor about the next Batman movie. Even if it is true, and I don't believe there is much merit to the short and slight article, would you refuse to see the next Batman movie if Chris Nolan did cast Cher as Catwoman? If he does cast Cher, and I'm not saying he will, isn't it possible that he might have a script with an unusual take on Catwoman and he thinks Cher would be the perfect actress to play the role? Don't you trust Nolan? Anyway, the next Batman movie likely won't be released until two more years from now, possibly three, so that gives you plenty of time to over-react to all sorts of rumors unless you just plain get tired of them.
