It was just better all the way around. Batman & Robin was just way overdone in a lot of areas. They seemed to put a lot of emphasis on Arnold Schwartzinager's (I know I'm spelling his last name wrong) one liners. The bad guys in Batman and Robin just seemed more silly than evil.
