3. I agree about Danny DeVito. He did an awesome job at taking, let’s face it, a pretty lame character and running away with it. Kudos to Danny! Since Chris Nolan’s movies tend to be a bit more realistic and a little less fantasy like, that’s a hard one to say. Ummm, I honestly can’t think of anyone else.

7. -all i know for a fact from the news and other sources is that -there is only one more batman film.
   -there will not be a robin.
   -and i doubt there will be the penguin.
   -it will prolly be fantastic but will not top the dark knight.

11. i agree with ppl who say that penguin shouldnt be in the movies because his character is a bit more out there than any of the others used so far, plus they all had a theme to them: ras al ghul was lethal justice, scarecrows was fear, joker was anarchy, two-face was corruption. i personally think catwoman would offer an interesting theme in seeing batmans dark sexual nature and vigilante status that hasnt been explored yet, but if i were to cast the penguin i would get philip seymour hoffman. he is a tremendous actor, he can play sinister in mission impossible 3 and flamboyant in capote. he has tremendous range and would be perfect i think. that said, i thought danny devitos was already definitive and doesnt really need to be improved on

12. Ok i have heard rumors of possible penquins and the best one i thought of is
    Phillip Seymour Hoffman
    or possibly Anthony Hopkins
    i know hes a little old but he has that sadistic way about him that would fit right in with the Penquin

    Also The Riddler might come into play
    th e man in “Dark Knight” Reese or whatever
    the man who was trying to Expose Batman with blackmail
    anyway
    I think he might change his name to hide his identity
    and he will become the riddler
    although i would like to see Adrien Brody
    he isnt as Dark as he should be but he has sort of a look about him that makes him a good choice for it

    Ok now this might sound stupid but maybe just maybe
    Jack Black could play the Penquin
    if u have ever seen Tenacious D and the pick of destiney
    during the song “Master Exploder” he kinda play a Dark side and that Smile he gives off is Priceless
    he could possibly be it if he tones it down and acts Evil

13. The Penguin has been portrayed differently in different comics, some he’s got more of a Danny Devito phisique(short & husky), but in some of the original comics he was tall and skinny. So I can see Danny Devito playing the part once again however I also see Johnny Depp. Personally I don’t like The Penguin, I do find him to be a lame character, but if anyone can recreate The Penguin it would be Christopher Nolan and the actor playing The Penguin. I don’t think Nolan will do The Penguin, at least not for the next movie, I’m thinking he’ll do a combination of Bane, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and The Riddler. And I think Nolan has also stated that he likes to fit actors into parts people wouldn’t expect them to play, like Heath Ledger as The Joker.(Which was a Phenomenal performance)

    The Penguin – Johnny Depp or Edward Norton
    Mr. Freeze – Patrick Stewart(and not just because he’s bald)
    Bane – Tyler Mane
    Catwoman – Jennifer Connelly or Rebecca Romijin
    Poison Ivy – Angelina Jolie
    The Riddler – Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Reynolds, or Brad Pitt

14. I like the idea of Phillip Seymour. Joe Pesci might be good too. Whoever said ANgelina Jolie should be Poison Ivy is obviously high off the reefer!
