well, batman has been driving a car since his first appearance in detective comics #27, i think, but his first car titled the batmobile was in Detective Comics #48 (February 1941) it just looked like a regular car, tho. in Batman #5 (Spring 1941), batman got the batmobile with the bat head at the front. since 64, we’ve got the modern batmobile (altho it gets some minor tweaks over the years depending on who’s drawing it).
